WSJ launches “Media Mix” podcast

The Wall Street Journal has added another podcast, with this one being a weekly show called “Media Mix” covering companies and topics across media and marketing.

The co-hosts are CMO Today vertical reporters Jack Marshall and Steven Perlberg.

Marshall covers marketing and media for CMO Today. He was previously a staff writer for Digiday, covering digital media and marketing, and a reporter for ClickZ.

Perlberg covers media and advertising for CMO Today. Before that, he was a markets and finance reporter at Business Insider.

The Journal started the podcast because there s so much disruption in the media and marketing world right now — with non-stop drama and built-in tension.

“The Wall Street Journal is using podcasting to bring our stellar reporting to the mobile masses, and WSJ Media Mix will do just that,” said a spokesman.  “It will offer timely guests and provide lively insights into the rapidly-changing media landscape.”

Dow Jones launched a podcast series in December featuring reporting from The Journal, Barron’s and MarketWatch.com
