WSJ fires video editor over sexual misconduct

WSJ 2017The Wall Street Journal’s top video editor, Chris Moran, has been fired for sexual misconduct allegations following an internal review, reports Amber Athey and Joe Simonson of The Daily Caller.

Athey and Simonson report, “‘Dow Jones takes allegations of misconduct very seriously,’ the spokesperson said in a statement to The Daily Caller News Foundation. ‘Following an internal review, Chris Moran is no longer employed by The Wall Street Journal.’

“The spokesperson did not provide any details about the allegations against Moran.

“Three sources, including a member of the WSJ video team, a Dow Jones employee, and a senior media executive with knowledge of the firing, all told The Daily Caller that Moran was recently let go from the newspaper for misconduct.

“The Dow Jones employee and senior media executive both confirmed that Moran was removed after being accused of sexual misconduct.”
