Scott Rosenfield, the site director for Wired, has left the news organization.
His last day was Thursday.
Rosenfield had been with the business magazine’s website since July 2018. At Wired, Rosenfield was responsible for leading digital strategy and editorial revenue programs across Wired platforms.
“I’ve decided that now is the right time for me to figure out what comes next,” he wrote on Twitter. “And I’m confident that the wonderful WIRED team is ready to chart a brave path forward.
He joined Wired from Outside, where he worked since 2014, most recently as digital general manager. At Outside, Rosenfield launched the site’s affiliate revenue program and expanded its newsletter strategy, leading to record revenue growth.
