Paris Martineau has been hired to join Wired’s business desk as a staff writer.
Her first day in the New York office will be Oct. 8.
Martineau previously worked at The Outline as a staff writer, covering tech news, social media manipulation, and privacy. Before that she wrote for select all — New York magazine’s tech blog — about internet culture, dank memes, and life online.
She is a New York University graduate in comparative literature.
