Dallas Biz Journal names Chandhok its new publisher

Ollie Chandhok

Triad Business Journal publisher Ollie Chandhok has been named market president and publisher of the Dallas Business Journal, effective Nov. 1

A story on the Dallas Business Journal website states, “Chandhok succeeds Tracy Merzi, who was recently promoted to vice president/local markets at American City Business Journals, parent company of the Dallas Business Journal.

“Merzi will remain in Dallas and oversee a number of local Business Journals. The other publications Merzi will oversee, beyond the Dallas Business Journal, have not been determined yet.

“Chandhok joined ACBJ in 2008 and worked in both advertising and circulation sales at the Charlotte Business Journal before moving to ACBJ’s corporate staff as a regional audience development director in 2014. He was named publisher of the Triad Business Journal in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 2015.

“Originally from Toronto, Chandhok moved to Charlotte to attend college. He worked in industrial sales for nine years before joining ACBJ.”
