Eric Wicklund, editor of mHealthIntelligence.com (Xtelligent Media), an online news site, is leaving to join HealthLeaders Media in Brentwood, Tennessee, to cover technology and innovation.
He begins in November.
Wicklund previously joined MedTech Media in 2007, where he served as managing editor for two national business-to-business publications — Healthcare IT News and Healthcare Finance News. He was also editor of MobileHealthWatch and mHIMSS.org.
He also helped launch and was the editor of mHealthNews.com, a national online publication focused on telehealth, for HIMSS Media, which had acquired MedTech.
Wicklund began his career in 1986 at Biddeford-Saco Journal Tribune in Maine, where he worked for 19 years, holding various roles, including editor, writer and columnist.
