Helena Wasserman has been named the editor of the new Business Insider South Africa website.
Wasserman has more than 20 years’ experience working for some of South Africa’s leading business titles, including Finweek, Fin24 and Sake24.
“Our team is looking forward to showcase the most exciting new developments in SA business and finance,” said Wasserman in a statement. “Our aim is to empower the country’s next generation of executives with all the information they need, minus the boring bits.”
Phillip de Wet has been appointed as associate editor. He is currently associate editor of Mail & Guardian.
The site is expected to launch next month.
