Washtell to cover the tech and industrials beat for Daily Mail

The Daily Mail has tapped Francesca Washtell to cover tech and industrials.

Recently, she covered industrials and markets. Before that, she covered economics.

Prior to joining the Daily Mail, Washtell was a deputy night editor at City A.M. She also worked as a books editor and industrials reporter at City A.M. She was also a reporter at Steel First and a sub-editor and freelance industry analyst at BMI Research, a content management firm.

She has also worked at The Independent and i100.co.uk.

Washtell has a B.A. from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a NCTJ-certified journalist.
