Sy Mukherjee, who covers health care for Fortune magazine, is leaving the publication at the end of the month.
“In fact, I’m leaving journalism altogether after 9 years as a health reporter to launch an exciting, and very different, new chapter,” he wrote on Twitter.
Mukherjee has been with Fortune since March 2016 and also covered biopharmaceuticals. He helped run a new daily digital newsletter.
Before Fortune, Mukherjee was editor of BioPharma Dive, an Industry Dive newsletter.
He is a graduate of Dartmouth College.
