The Washington Post launched a technology newsletter on Tuesday called The Technology 202, covering the intersection of technology and policy.
Authored by technology policy reporter Cat Zakrzewski, the newsletter will have original reporting and analysis on key issues including White House and Congressional technology initiatives, news from key regulators, privacy, industry lobbying, AI and technology culture.
It will feature interviews with leading decision makers in addition to top technology policy stories from The Post and around the web.
“Policymakers and the technology industry are clashing in unprecedented ways, and The Technology 202 offers a comprehensive daily resource to help readers decode this dynamic relationship,” said Rachel Van Dongen, editor of PowerPost, in a statement. “With thorough reporting, smart analysis and thoughtful curation, the newsletter is an essential tool for everyone to stay informed about key discussions impacting Washington, Silicon Valley and beyond.”
The launch of Technology 202 adds to The Post’s recent expansion of technology coverage and marks continued growth of The Post’s 202 newsletter franchise, which includes The Daily 202, The Health 202, The Finance 202, The Energy 202 and The Cybersecurity 202.
