The Washington Business Journal has promoted three staffers to the roles of managing editor, assistant managing editor and digital editor.
The new managing editor is Michael Neibauer, a former associate editor and, before that, economic development reporter. He has long assembled the paper’s digital Crane Watch map of ongoing construction projects.
The new assistant managing editor is Drew Hansen, who has been digital editor for the past five years and, in that time. He has overseen the paper’s Twitter feed, LinkedIn account and Instagram posts.
The new digital editor is Rebecca Cooper. She has expertly navigated the paper’s restaurant, retail, hospitality, tourism and arts beat for seven years.
