Blair Hanley Frank, a reporter at VentureBeat, is leaving the tech news site at the end of the week.
Frank has accepted a position with ISG as a principal analyst, covering enterprise technology. He starts May 4.
Khari Johnson will be the lone artificial intelligence beat reporter at VentureBeat after Frank’s departure.
Frank, who joined VentureBeat in May 2017, also covered big data, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technologies.
He previously worked at IDG News Service where he served as a U.S. correspondent and provided breaking news and analysis of the public cloud, productivity and operating systems businesses. His articles have appeared in PCWorld, CIO, and InfoWorld, among others. Prior to IDG, Frank wrote for GeekWire, focusing on such large companies as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook and Twitter.
He holds a B.A. in English from Whitman College.
