Vanity Fair magazine has hired New York Magazine contributing editor Jessica Pressler as a special correspondent covering the intersection of money and culture.
Her 2015 story “The Hustlers at Scores” was nominated for a National Magazine Award and served as the inspiration for the movie “Hustlers.” Her 2018 story in grift queen Anna Sorokin is being developed for Netflix by Shonda Rhimes.
Pressler has profiled Jamie Dimon, Channing Tatum and the aura of Ivanka Trump and has also written for GQ, Elle and Esquire.
Her work appeared in the 2012, 2013, and 2015 editions of Columbia Journalism School’s anthologies of Best Business Writing.
Pressler was a staff writer for Philadelphia magazine and the Philadelphia Weekly and graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in English.
