Michael Goot, a reporter at the Glens Falls Post-Star in upstate New York, is now covering business news.
Goot wrties, “The paper has lacked a regular person covering business topics for a couple years, with different reporters covering stories here and there. Other reporters still will be contributing stories, but I am going to be taking the lead on business coverage.
“Since I took over the city of Glens Falls beat, I have been covering the Downtown Revitalization Initiative projects and the Planning Board meetings, as well the alphabet soup of meetings including the IDA, EDC and CDC. I got some business stories and tips out of those meetings, so this is just an extension of what I already have been doing.
“I look forward to doing more business stories. It is an important topic for the community.”
