The SABEW Chair is offering two scholarships to the SABEW Fall Workshop on Oct. 30 and 31, plus a tour of Wall Street on Nov. 1, to business journalists from small and medium-sized newsrooms. The scholarships are valued at more than $1,000 each.
The workshop is being held in New York City at the headquarters of Bloomberg News, and on Wednesday, Nov. 1, Professor Marty Steffens will take scholarship winners and other participants on a tour of New York markets and exchanges.
The scholarship covers the $175 registration fee and three nights lodging at $260 a night. Deadline to apply for the scholarship is Friday, Sept. 22.
