Forbes staff writers Angel Au-Yeung and David Jeans have signed a contract to write a book about the life of former Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh.
The publisher is Henry Holt & Co.
The book will focus on Hsieh’s life and impact in the business world, and how his pursuit for happiness and real-world change came to a tragic end in 2020. The two journalists co-wrote a story on Hsieh’s final months for the magazine.
Au-Yeung has been at Forbes since October 2017. She wrote a cover story on Oracle founder Larry Ellison amid the COVID pandemic.
Jeans covers tech companies. He previously reported for The Real Deal, where he covered WeWork, real estate tech startups and commercial real estate.
