Shelina Begum is now a North West business editor at TheBusinessDesk.com, bringing more than 2 decades of experience working as a journalist/editor to the company.
She is also the founder of Shelina Begum Media and the co-founder of www.workingmamas.co.uk, a national platform championing working mothers across the U.K.
She has also worked at various Reach titles, most recently as business editor of the Manchester Evening News.
Begum also worked at MEN Media for more than 21 years, joining as a features writer and then serving as a business reporter. She then took on the role of journalist, before holding the post of business editor.
She has also served as an editor/reporter at Asian News (Guardian Media Group).
