Julia Alexander, a media reporter at The Verge, is leaving the news organization.
Her last day is Friday.
“To work for the two publications I idolized in college — I remember refreshing the page when Polygon first launched — and work with the smartest people in this industry is something I never, ever dreamed could ever happen,” she wrote on Twitter.
She has been at The Verge since October 2018 and previously was an entertainment reporter at Polygon. She has also been national online editor for Sun Media in Toronto and a freelancer writer for Motherboard.
Alexander graduated from Humber College with a degree in journalism.
