The Cornell Daily Sun is welcoming its 138th editorial board staff. Taking the front will be Maryam Zafar, who will come in as editor-in-chief. Zafar will be leaving her post as city editor to lead the paper to “infinity and beyond.”
Associate editor Peter Buonanno will be joined at the wheel of the opinion department by opinion editor Pallavi Kenkare. Jason Huang will be working on The Sun’s digital presence while design editor Niko Nguyen will be working with layout editor Lei Anne Rabeje.
Alicia Wang will be coming in as graphics editor.
Christina Bulkeley, Emily Dawson and Luke Pichini will be taking on the role of sports editors.
The news editorial team will consist of Sean O’Connell, Alex Hale, Caroline Johnson, Kathryn Stamm and news editors Cata Peñeñory, Meghana Srivastava, Madeline Rosenberg and Olivia Weinberg.
