Kerr has been covering the on-demand economy and tech culture.
She previously was a freelance reporter who wrote stories on everything from El Salvador’s civil war to an Oakland shepherd who uses goats to prevent wildfires.
Kerr holds degrees from New York University, Columbia University and Cal-Barkeley.
