Trachtenberg writes, “Portfolio, an imprint of Pearson PLC’s Penguin Group (USA), said Monday it has pushed up the publication of Erin Arvedlund’s ‘Too Good to Be True: The Rise and Fall of Bernie Madoff’ to Aug. 11 from Sept. 8.
“A second Madoff title, Andrew Kirtzman’s ‘Betrayal: The Life and Lies of Bernie Madoff,’ is also being published Aug. 11 by Harper, an imprint of News Corp.’s HarperCollins Publishers. That book was originally scheduled for October publication.
“A third title, Jerry Oppenheimer’s ‘Madoff With the Money,’ which is being published by John Wiley & Sons Inc., hits the bookstores Aug. 12 instead of Sept. 15.
