TechCrunch taps Silberling to cover social media and consumer tech

Amanda Silberling

Amanda Silberling will be joining TechCrunch to cover social media and consumer tech.

Her new role begins July 19.

Silberling is a freelance multimedia journalist who has been featured in Medium, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, Mic, Yahoo, Observer, Vice, NPR and more.

She served as an art and editorial assistant at Jacket2 Magazine, an online poetics journal published through the Kelly Writers House at the University of Pennsylvania.

In addition, she interned at Shorefire Media and Institute of Contemporary Art. She was also a blog editor/director of social media relations at The Adroit Journal.

Silberling was also a music editor at The Daily Pennsylvanian’s 34th Street Magazine.

Silberling is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania.
