By moving to nytimes.com, we’ll be able to reach and help even more readers. Our editorial team will continue to work independently from The Times, but you can look forward to future collaborations across the site.
Q: How does this affect Wirecutter as a business? Will I still see affiliate links to Amazon and other retailers?
A: Our business model remains unchanged. If you click a link on our site and buy something we recommend, we may receive a commission. But as always, our writers and editors are never made aware of any business relationships we may have with various retailers, and we will continue to make our picks independent of all business and financial interests. Those things will never change—helping readers make the right buying decisions will always come first.
