Jon Steinberg has joined The Information to help launch a Weekend section covering tech, culture, parenting and more.
He joins from Epic Magazine, a division of Vox Media, where he was a creative director. He has also served as editor-in-chief of the San Francisco Magazine and was with the New York Magazine for over 5 years, where he worked as a senior editor.
During his time at the SF Magazine, his work won two national magazine awards and was nominated for two others.
He has also worked as an associate editor at Time Inc. and Diablo Magazine.
Steinberg graduated from the University of California at Berkeley.
