Sports business publication Sportico has hired Kurt Badenhausen as a reporter.
Badenhausen spent the last 23 years at Forbes magazine, most recently as a senior editor. He focused mainly on the business of sports and its annual franchise valuations. He also spent a lot of time digging into what athletes earn on and off the field of play.
He also started the biennial B-School rankings at Forbes; annual features on the Best Places for Business (metros, states and countries); and America’s Best Banks.
Before Forbes, Badenhausen spent three years as a reporter for Financial World magazine.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Colgate University.
