Sports business news site Sportico has hired Atlanta Business Chronicle reporter Eric Jackson.
He will start next month and move to New York.
“I can’t wait to get started and be part of a super talented team,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’ll be moving to New York soon.”
Jackson has been with the Business Chronicle since May 2019 covering the intersection of sports and business. He previously worked at the Lake City Reporter as a sports writer.
He is a graduate of Valdosta State University, where he was sports editor of the student newspaper. He is a member of National Association of Black Journalists and Associated Press Sports Editors.
