Six staffers left Barron’s on Friday as new hires will be announced next week.
Those departing were:
- Photo director Adrian DeLucca, who had been at Barron’s since January 2004 and had been the photo director since January 2006.
- Assistant photo editor Amber Sexton, who had been at Barron’s since September 2015 and before that had worked at People magazine.
- Associate art director Diane Sipprelle, who had been at Barron’s since 1996.
- Art department staffers Meredith Lewin, Christine Silver and Jack Dee. Dee had been with Dow Jones since October 2002 and was the creator and producer of the Barron’s NEXT Minute and Daily Download video segments.
Barron’s editorial staff has undergone an overhaul under editor in chief Katherine Bell, who joined the publication last year. Earlier this year, it named an executive editor and several managing editors.
It has also hired an audience managing editor, a new position.
