The San Fernando Valley Business Journal has hired Katherine Tangalakis-Lippert as a reporter covering retail, nonprofits and hospitality.
She has been a freelance journalist since January 2020 writing, reporting and editing features, investigative pieces and personal essays for criminal justice and human interest outlets including WitnessLA, Wear Your Voice and HelloGiggles, among others.
Tangalakis-Lipper holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California, where she was an investigative reporter for Annenberg Media and Beacon Project.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from California Lutheran University.
