Robinson to take over Economist’s British politics column

Duncan Robinson

Duncan Robinson has been named the British politics columnist at The Economist.

He will start in January.

Robinson is currently the Brussels bureau chief at The Economist. He also writes the Charlemagne column. Prior to this Duncan was Britain political correspondent. Before joining the newspaper, he worked at the Financial Times as its Brussels correspondent.

He started at FT in 2011 as a graduate trainee, with stints covering European equities along with the retail and leisure sectors.
