Journalist Karen Robinson-Jacobs will be joining The St. Louis American staff as a full-time Report for America business reporter.
Her new role starts in June.
In her new role, Robinson-Jacobs will cover local business news in St. Louis on a weekly basis, while taking a deeper investigative dive into specific business stories throughout the year.
Robinson Jacobs has also worked as a hospitality industry reporter at The Dallas Morning News and was editor and reporter at Los Angeles Times.
She was also with Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 9 years and has worked as a reporter and editor during her time there.
Robinson Jacobs is a B.S. in journalism from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
