Barnes leaves HuffPost to go freelance

Becky Barnes

Becky Barnes is leaving HuffPost to work as a freelance journalist. Barnes has been with HuffPost for more than 4 years, joining as a social media editor and recently serving as an audience editor.

She has also worked as a BT.com news reporter and as a social media journalist/multimedia reporter at Press Association. She was also a reading post/Bracknell Times senior reporter at Trinity Mirror Southern.

Barnes was also a trainee journalist at Brighton Journalist Works and a writer at BBC Blast Youth Panel.

Barnes holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American literature from University of Kent and holds a diploma in journalism from Brighton Journalist Works.
