Amina Ismail, a Reuters reporter in Egypt, has moved to its Baghdad bureau as a senior correspondent.
Ismail has been based in Cairo since April 2016.
She previously worked as a reporter for The New York Times and as a news assistant for The Wall Street Journal in Egypt. She also was a correspondent for McClatchy in the Middle East and Northern Africa for two years. She also was a freelancer for the Egypt Independent.
Ismail holds a bachelor’s degree from Modern Sciences and Arts University and a master’s degree from Northwestern University in video journalism.
