Andrew Mills has joined Reuters as Qatar correspondent.
Previously, he was founding editor at Connect the Gulf by Al Sila, a five-minute email newsletter providing news from the Arab Gulf States.
He was also co-founder of Jumpline, a community hub to support journalism educators and trainers in Doha. He has also freelanced for the Toronto Star, USA Today, The Globe and Mail, CBC, BBC World Service and PRI.
Mills has also taught at Northwestern University and was a Middle East correspondent at The Chronicle of Higher Education.
He has also served as a general assignment/metro reporter and then as a political correspondent at the Toronto Star.
Mills has a M.S. in journalism from Columbia University, New York.
