Arielle Ray has joined New York Times Video as a graphics/multimedia editor and will be helping out the visual investigations team.
Recently, Ray was at Quartz for more than three years, joining as a video journalist. Later on, she was promoted to the post of art director. She has also worked as an adjunct instructor at The New School and was with The Wall Street Journal for more than two years.
She joined the Journal as a motion graphics intern and later on held the post of video journalist.
She has also interned in the art department at M. Shanken Communications and was an ASOS brand ambassador at Youth Marketing Connection.
Additionally, she has also served as communications student assistant at University of Miami and interned at both Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and Uzzell Group.
Ray holds a double major bachelor degree in visual journalism and English literature from University of Miami.
