Financial news site Quartz launched Tuesday a weekly video show “Make Business Better” hosted by Quartz CEO Zach Seward.
The show will appear on Quartz’s LinkedIn page each Tuesday at 11 a.m. and will be a 15-minute interview with leaders to talk about an initiative in which they are actively working to make business better.
Ellevest CEO Sallie Krawcheck appeared on the episode today to discuss anti-sexist and anti-racist investing.
A co-founder of Quartz, Seward acquired the company in a management buyout from its previous owner last week. In a letter to readers, he explained how Quartz is putting its values in the company’s mission: Make business better.
“We believe companies should solve real problems without creating new ones,” said Seward. “The global economy must be as inclusive as it is innovative, balance financial incentives with the needs of our planet, and elevate leaders who act with integrity, empathy, and foresight.”
