Quartz founding editor Delaney to join NY Times

James Bennet, the editorial page editor of the New York Times, sent out the following announcement on Monday:

Kevin Delaney, the founding editor and co-C.E.O. of Quartz, is joining Opinion for six months to help lead the department’s next big project.
Some of you already know him, but for those who don’t, he’s one of the most creative and decent journalists you’ll find.
Before Quartz, Kevin was a reporter in Paris and San Francisco for The Wall Street Journal, and the managing editor of WSJ.com.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
