Darren Samuelsohn started his career at Politico in 2010 as a senior energy and environment reporter. He then moved on to become a White House reporter and then a senior policy reporter at the company. Recently, he held the post of senior White House reporter at Politico.
Now, after nearly 10 years, he will be leaving the organization to join Business Insider as its next bureau chief. There, he will be launching a new office and overseeing a reporting team in Washington.
Before joining Politico, Samuelsohn was a senior reporter at E&E News and also held the post of outdoors/travel/entertainment reporter at The Olympian. He also served as an English teacher at Nova English School.
Samuelsohn holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
