Politico labor policy editor Noah departs

Timothy Noah, labor policy editor at Politico, left the organization last week.

Noah was with Politico for five years creating and editing a paywalled section on employment and immigration policy.

Prior to joining Politico, Noah was with MSNBC where he served as a contributing writer twice a week. He also served as senior editor and “TRB from Washington” columnist at The New Republic. He was also senior writer and “Chatterbox” and “Prescriptions” columnist at Slate Magazine.

In addition, he has served as assistant managing editor at U.S. News & World Report and as a reporter at The Wall Street Journal. He also held the posts of correspondent and editor at Newsweek and The Washington Monthly, respectively.

He was also with The New York Times for a year serving as assistant op-ed editor.

Noah is a B.A. in English from Harvard University.
