The Phoenix Business Journal has hired Corina Vanek to cover commercial real estate and the economy for the paper.
She started Tuesday. Vanek replaces Mike Sunnucks, who moved to the Sports Business Journal.

She graduated in May 2015 from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University with two bachelor’s degrees, one in journalism and the other in human communication.
Her work has been published in various newspapers, including The Arizona Republic, The State Press and The Desert Shamrock. Along with reporting, she has also worked in a public relations capacity for Healthcare Interactive, and as a digital content manager for Republic Media.
