Perlberg leaving BuzzFeed, moving to Germany

Dear friends, sources, source-friends, colleagues, professional acquaintances, and enemies:

After a great two years, I’m leaving BuzzFeed News at the end of the year. The next stop: I’m moving to… Berlin!

I’ll be freelance reporting about the usual things — media and politics — but also on plenty of new European topics too. Which reminds me: Editors, if you are reading this, I’d love to write for you.

The best way to reach me going forward is at stevenperlberg@gmail.com. My DMs are always open on Twitter, and you can expect lots of travel photos on Instagram, if that’s your thing. My cell, for now, is still xxx-xxx-xxxx, but I’ll have a new German number soon.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
