The Wilkes-Barre Times Leader has dropped the Wall Street Journal Sunday content it ran in its weekend business section and replaced it with other content.
Business editor Ron Bartizek writes, “While authoritative, the heavily formatted Journal pages left no opportunity to adjust to changing market and economic conditions. In their place, we are substituting a new Money & Markets page created for The Times Leader by the Associated Press, with several new features including a weekly recap of interest rates, our first-ever listing of Exchange Traded Funds and an expanded look at the performance of stocks of local interest.
“Another page will carry the Small Talk column and other consumer and small business items.
“We’re also restoring the Motley Fool feature to the half-page package that formerly appeared in our Your Money section. And the Corporate Ladder feature, spotlighting local promotions and accomplishments, has been moved into Sunday from the Saturday business page.”
