The New York Times’ Diego Ribadeneira will be moving to the international desk overseeing coverage of the Americas.
Ribadeneira has been with the Times for nearly 20 years, having starting on Metro in 2004 and being there ever since. On Metro, he has held almost every role, including copy editor, weekend editor, day editor and deputy metropolitan editor.
Recently, he has held with the coverage of public transit, the airports, infrastructure, the local economy, small businesses, real estate, housing and New Jersey.
Ribadeneira has also served as deputy metro editor at The Miami Herald and has worked at The Boston Globe as a reporter, foreign correspondent and deputy city editor.
