Debtwire has hired Lavanya Nair as a distressed debt reporter.
She is based in New York and is covering industrials, retail and health care, with a specific focus on chemicals, industrials and packaging credits.
Nair previously was a Fitch covering distressed debt and bankruptcy. She also worked at Euromoney Institutional Investor as an Americas reporter.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Lancashire and a master’s degree from New York University.
