The Columbus Dispatch has tapped Nathaniel Shuda as a full-time county government reporter.
Previously, Shuda served as a Saturday editor while working for Oshkosh Northwestern during the week, where he spent eight years. There, he held the posts of education watchdog reporter, government watchdog reporter, interim editor and editor/reporter.
He has also worked as an assistant breaking news editor, breaking news editor, reporter and watchdog editor for Central Wisconsin at Gannett | USA Today Network – Wisconsin.
He has also covered local municipal governments and businesses in South Wood and Adams Counties and education for the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune.
Shuda has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
