New publisher hired for Pennsylvania biz journal

A businessman who has media and leadership ties in the state was named publisher of Central Penn Business Journal.

Cathy Hirko of the paper writes, “Scott Downs, former general manager and publisher of the Lebanon Daily News, will take the helm this week at the Paxton Street office in Harrisburg, said Adam Reinebach, CEO and president of Dolan Publishing Group, the parent company of CPBJ and Parent.

“‘It is a privilege to have the opportunity to join such a well-respected publication as the Central Penn Business Journal,’ Downs said. ‘My immediate goal is for us to keep providing our readers with the outstanding journalism they have come to expect, and deserve. We’ll remain committed to providing more information, more analysis and more advice pertinent to business, to keep businesses throughout the region well-informed.’

“Reinebach also named ShaunJude McCoach, as associate publisher for CPBJ and Central Penn Parent. McCoach joined CPBJ in 2013 as its sales manager.”
