Ashley Bergthold has been named the business editor of the Cookeville Herald-Citizen, according to a short story in the paper. She has been a business reporter at the paper.
The story stated, “Bergthold has a degree in Business Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has previous publishing experience from working for agriculture-business magazines in her native Missouri.
“Bergthold also gained business experience from working for her family’s farm and at the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association.
“‘I am excited to be given this opportunity,’ said Bergthold. ‘I look forward to providing the Upper Cumberland with extensive business news.
“‘It has been a pleasure meeting people in the region’s business community, everyone has been very welcoming and helpful,’ Bergthold said.
