Kate Shepherd will assume responsibilities as anchor of afternoon Inside INdiana Business Radio reports, according to a release from parent company Grow INdiana Media Ventures.
“I’m excited to have Kate step into this role,” said President Gerry Dick. “She has experience and credibility that will help us continue to grow our radio programming around Indiana. The move will also allow me to devote more time to growing our business, both inside and outside of the state.”
Starting Monday, Shepherd will produce and anchor public radio and commercial versions of the reports that are currently broadcast on 12 stations in the company’s growing statewide radio network. She will also continue to host and produce the morning edition of the Inside INdiana Business public radio report.
Dick will continue to anchor the morning edition of the Inside INdiana Business commercial report and will offer stories and perspective in the afternoon broadcasts. Inside Edge Editor Raquel Bahamonde and Josh Wikel will also continue to be regular contributors to Indiana’s largest local business news radio network.
A veteran radio broadcaster, Shepherd joined Grow INdiana Media Ventures in December, 2004, after working for 13 years as a senior anchor and reporter for Network Indiana and WIBC Radio. She also served as communications director for the Indiana Secretary of State’s Office.
