Capital Monitor, New Statesman Media Group, has hired Adrian Murdoch as a corporates editor.
He joins from LaingBuisson where he was editor, Healthcare Markets International.
Murdoch has also served as international editor, Finance Asia, at Haymarket Media Group. He was also editor, Health Investor Asia, at Investor Publishing Ltd. He has also worked freelance for IFR, Asiamoney, Euroweek, Institutional Investor and Health Investor.
Murdoch was also at Thomson Reuters for more than 4 years, joining as a screens editor Asia, IFR markets. He then became a senior correspondent at Reuters Insider Television.
Murdoch has also worked freelance for Wall Street Journal Europe, The Herald, The Scotsman, Global Agenda, Institutional Investor, Minerva and Gramophone. He was a contributing editor at The Herald Business and an editorial coordinator Europe for Special Projects for Institutional Investor.
He has also served as editor, UP Magazine, at MHP Publishing and deputy editor, Unlimited Magazine at Carnyx. He was also assistant editor, World Link, the magazine of the World Economic Forum at Euromoney.
Murdoch is a graduate of The Queen’s College, Oxford.
