Morning Consult has hired Matt Bracken as a senior editor.
For the past two years, Bracken has been deputy editorial director at Edelman in the Washington, D.C. office. He provided editorial counsel to clients in the federal government, technology, healthcare, education, public affairs and energy sectors.
Before that, Bracken spent 10 years at the Baltimore Sun as director of audience engagement and development and deputy sports editor. He also worked at the Arizona Daily Star.
He holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Northwestern University.
