Reuters has hired Kelsey Johnson to cover the Canadian economy from its Ottawa bureau.
She will start May 21.
She has been at iPolitics for the past six years as a parliamentary affairs reporter with a specialization in agriculture and trade policy issues at the federal and provincial level.
Johnson has also been a columnist for Western Producer Media.
She is a Carleton University graduate who once worked as a bear guardian in Banff National Park.
